Maple Syrup Glazed Roast Duck

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole duck (about 2-3 kg)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 250 ml of pure maple syrup
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • A few sprigs of fresh thyme
  • Orange slices for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Duck:

    • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
    • Pat the duck dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper inside and out.
  2. Roast the Duck:

    • Let the duck rest for 10 minutes after removing it from the oven.
