
Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Maple Syrup

Ingredients:
- 500 g Brussels sprouts
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 tablespoons of pure maple syrup
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley (to garnish)
Instructions:

Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Wash and cut the Brussels sprouts in half.

Season and Roast:
- In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with the olive oil, maple syrup, salt and pepper.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking:
- Roast the Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and tender, stirring halfway through cooking.

Add the Bacon:
- Once the Brussels sprouts are cooked, remove them from the oven and mix them with the cooked bacon pieces.

Serve:
- Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl, garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
