
Maple Syrup Glazed Pork Chops

Ingredients:
- 4 pork chops
- 125 ml of pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mashed potatoes (for serving)
- Steamed Green Beans (for serving)
Instructions:

Prepare the Marinade:
- In a bowl, mix the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce and chopped thyme.

Marinate the Chops:
- Place the pork chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat the Pan:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook the Chops:
- Remove the chops from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and season them with salt and pepper.
- Cook the pork chops in the hot pan for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until nicely browned and cooked through.

Add the Marinade:
- Pour the reserved marinade into the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and glazes the chops.

Serve:
- Arrange the pork chops on a plate, drizzle them with the maple syrup sauce.
- Serve with creamy mashed potatoes and steamed green beans. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
