Bloody Eyes Mimosa Eggs with Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Black olives, sliced
  • Red paprika for blood veins

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Eggs:

    • Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise.
    • Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a small bowl.
  2. Make the Filling:

    • Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.
    • Add the mayonnaise, mustard, maple syrup, salt and pepper, and mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
    • Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
  3. Assemble the Mimosa Eggs:

    • Fill the hollowed egg whites with the yolk mixture using a small spoon or a piping bag for precision.
    • Place a slice of black olive in the center of each yolk to form the pupil of the eye.
  4. Add the Bloody Details:

    • Use a toothpick to gently draw veins of red paprika from the pupil outward onto the white of the egg to create a bloody effect.
  5. Serve:

    • Arrange the eggs on a dark serving platter decorated with spiderwebs and other Halloween decorations to enhance the mood.
