Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 4 sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced ​​into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A handful of toasted pecans (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Prepare the Sweet Potatoes:

    • In a large bowl, toss sweet potato rounds with olive oil, maple syrup , cinnamon, salt and pepper until well coated.
  3. Roasting Sweet Potatoes:

    • Spread the sweet potato rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
    • Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and caramelized, turning them halfway through cooking for even cooking.
  4. Serve:
