Maple Syrup and Mustard Glazed Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 125 ml of pure maple syrup
- 60 ml Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions:

Prepare the Marinade:
- In a medium bowl, combine maple syrup, Dijon mustard, cider vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary. Mix well.

Marinate the Chicken:
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the chicken is well coated.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, ideally overnight for more pronounced flavors.

Cooking Chicken:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and reserve the marinade.
- In an ovenproof skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on each side.
- Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken and transfer the pan to the oven.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
